inspirate.org is a new social enterprise dedicated to using the best commercial nouse in supporting social entrepreneurs with starting their own businesses. We are interested in all forms of social enterprise, all business with social aims, and also have a particular interest and specialist knowledge of social firms employing disabled people.
Commerce
We earn our keep by providing tax consultancy and accountancy services to all businesses, with a particular focus on charities and social enterprises as this is where our expertise lays. We are fully qualified in tax consultancy and have many years experience, with a vast array of colleagues to call upon for when the going gets difficult. We outsource our audit & accountancy services to those accounting firms most suitable for your organisation. For start-up charities or social enterprises we also provide bid writing services for EU funded projects. This all earns us fees which fund our support services.

Support
We offer our advice, support, man-hours and occasionally finance to our client businesses and work closely with the entrepreneur giving a highly tailored service to meet their needs and abilities. Our main area of expertise is in the planning of the new business, defining the enterprise and writing the business plan but we have also gotten our hands dirty with the actuality of opening the doors on a new business.
There are no specific programmes open to new applicants at present. In our own start-up stages, we currently operate on an ad hoc basis looking for interesting people and opportunities where our knowledge fits with your gap. We are always open to new opportunities or partnerships that will benefit our overall mission.
