New Inspirate Brand
Last year was a special year for us as we continued to push the boundaries of An Indian Summer Festival, and shared the outcomes of our heritage project, We Bring Light.
The coming months will involve a lot of work behind the scenes for our team, with ongoing festival and project planning, and a rebrand that truly reflects the organisation's current values and vision.
Here’s what we’ve been focusing on so far.
Inspirate’s re-brand
In recent weeks, we have been collaborating with Bulb Studios to re-launch Inspirate’s brand and website - positioning Inspirate as a sector leader of creative social impact and supporting our mission to celebrate diaspora culture and heritage.
We are creating a world where inclusion, diversity and equity can thrive - where care, creative freedom, realisation of ambition, and opportunity are accessible to all. Watch this space - as we launch Inspirate’s new brand into the stratosphere.
An Indian Summer 2026
We're in the process of planning this year's An Indian Summer, with festival dates being announced across all our platforms very soon. Last year's festival brought exciting and original outdoor performances to our audiences and we'll be continuing this momentum with our 2026 programme.
Leicester’s Inclusive Heritage Project
The Community Heritage Champion Grants are now live on the council website as part of Leicester’s Inclusive Heritage Project. This is a fantastic opportunity to support grassroots community research and help uncover untold heritage stories from across the city.
There are ten grants of £11,000 available for organisations to support a champion from within their organisation to take part. Full details about eligibility, the application process, and what the programme entails can be found on the website. The deadline for applications is Monday 2nd March 2026.
